Genealogy Basics: Tracing Your Roots

Tracing your family’s history is a fascinating journey, but where do you begin?

Get tips, lessons, and one-on-one guidance from an expert who has spent a lifetime tracing her roots,  having done research at the National Archives, the Allen County Genealogy Library, county courthouses, museums, cemeteries, and through genealogy societies by mail and e-mail. 

Presentation time will be 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Individual appointments in 15 minute increments will be available from 12:15 pm - 3:00 pm, and attendees can utilize ACS resources for family history research while waiting for their appointment.

Register no later than Monday, April 30.

ACS events are open to Military, Retirees, Civilian workforce, Family Members and registered Fort McCoy Volunteers, unless otherwise stated. Employees must contact their supervisors regarding dismissal from work centers.
