Lakeside/Eastside cabins are equipped with full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, pots/pans, dishes, table and chairs), living room, TV w/cable, private bathroom, bed linens, bath towels, washcloths and air conditioning/heat. Duplex has same features but does not include a stove. Eastside log cabins also have a gas fireplace. Pet friendly cabins available ($75 fee). - Reservations and Campground Map

For all other reservations, please call +1 (800)531-4703 or +1 (608)388-3517 or email the campground.Military Reserved Sites are available to provide for Active Duty military and their immediate Families who cannot pre-arrange reservations due to mission requirements. Ten sites (full hookup and electricity only) are reserved each week for Active Duty military. Each Friday the sites not already reserved for the weekend are open to anyone on a first come/first serve basis. Trailer rentals are also available for these sites.

Pine View Campground is located near Fort McCoy between Sparta and Tomah on Hwy 21 with the entrance approximately 1.6 miles west of the Fort McCoy Main gate. Watch for the Pine View Campground/Whitetail Ridge Ski Area signs and follow them to the campground.

- Take I90 East to WI Hwy 27 (Exit 25-Sparta/Melvina Exit, approximately 23 miles)
- Take a Left onto WI Hwy 27 (also known as Black River Street)
- Take a Right on Montgomery Street (3rd set lights from Interstate, approximately 2.5 miles)
- Go straight through the first stop sign
- Take a Left at the second Stop Sign (Hwy 21)
- Continue straight on WI Hwy 21 for approximately 7 miles
- Take a Left by the Pine View Campground/Whitetail Ridge Ski Area sign and follow the signs to the campground.
From Madison/Tomah Area:
- Take I94 to Tomah (exit 143 Tomah/Fort McCoy)
- Take a Left onto WI Hwy 21 (west)
- Go straight through 2 sets of stop lights (you will pass Subway and at the second set of lights a Super Wal-Mart)
- Continue straight on WI Hwy 21 for approximately 9 miles
- Take a Right by the Pine View Campground/Whitetail Ridge Ski Area sign and follow the signs to the campground.

Thank you for staying at Pine View Campground and hope you enjoy your stay. In order to ensure that our customers have a positive experience please, read and adhere to our rental policies.
RESERVATION POLICY: All reservations require a minimum 1 day deposit. Guests must be 18 years of age and must present a valid ID at time of check-in to rent a campsite or any rental unit. All rentals are NON-SMOKING. Reservations are non-transferrable and must be reserved by the individual that will be occupying the unit.
CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT POLICY: Check-in time is 12 PM for campsites and 3 PM for all rental units. Checkout time is 11AM for campsites and rental units. Late check-outs will result in loss of deposit. Please inform the front office or camp host when checking out to ensure it is cleared from damages/cleanliness. This will expedite the process in having your deposit returned.
RV SITES: Pine View reserves the right to relocate reserved sites. Limit of one camping (tent) unit per site and must be placed on campsite pad. Exception: One small tent for children can be placed within ten feet of site pad. Two vehicles are allowed per site. Guests must park their vehicles in the designated parking areas.
RV RENTAL: Guests must provide their own linens for all rental campers.
TENT SITES: Two tents are allowed at a tent site and must fit within the designated area.
TRASH REMOVAL/CLEANING: Customers are responsible for removing trash from camp sites, lodging units and rental campers when leaving. Rental must be clean prior to return and failure to do so will result in cleaning fees being assessed and customer losing partial or full deposit.
EARLY CHECK OUT: Refunds for early check out will not be authorized.
PET POLICY: All pets must be on a leash and under control at all times. DoD and local policies apply at Pine View Campground. Pets may not be left unattended and/or allowed to run free, this includes staking or tying animals out. Aggressive and/or dangerous animals are not allowed. Some breeds are not allowed due to DoD/Army policies. No more than 2 pets are allowed per site. There are a limited number of pet friendly rental units. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Allowing pets in a pet free rental unit will result in a $75 cleaning fee. Pets are welcome on Pine View grounds but must be kept on a leash at all times and be up to date on their rabies vaccination. Do not leave pets unattended. Please be considerate of other campers and pick up after your dog, there are trash receptacles around the campground for your convenience.
.DAMAGES: Customers are responsible for all damages to equipment while in their possession. Customer is expected to return the equipment in the same condition it was received. Deposits do not prohibit Pine View Campground from charging additional maintenance or cleaning fees if they are warranted. The deposit will be refunded back to the same credit/debit card at the time of check-in or after equipment is cleared from inspection. Please plan an approximate hour for the check-in and checkout process.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All transactions are considered final. Cancellations must be made 8 days before the reservation.
FIREARMS REGULATIONS: Pine View campground is part of the federal installation of Fort McCoy and subject to its regulations. Any firearm that is brought onto Pine View campground must be registered with the Fort McCoy Police, regardless of intended use. Discharging of firearms, bows, paintball guns, or fireworks is not permitted. Customers initials are required verifying that no unregistered firearms are in their possession or that all firearms are registered through https://ftmccoy.isportsman.net/firearm%20registration.aspx.
CAMPFIRES: Fires are permitted in the provided fire rings. Please do not move the fire rings. Burning of garbage and pallets is not allowed. A campfire must be attended at all times.
BUGLE SOUNDS: This is a military affiliated campground and bugle sounds play throughout the day to signify different events for service members. There are a total of nine different bugle calls used on Fort McCoy throughout the day. For more information, please request a hand out from the front desk.
SWIMMING: Swimming is only permitted in the designated swimming area. Swimming or wading in Trout Falls is prohibited.
BIKES/ROLLERBLADES/SKATEBOARDS: Use of bikes, rollerblades, or skateboards requires a helmet being worn at all times.
QUIET HOURS: All customers must observe quiet time from 11PM to 8AM. The picnic area is the only authorized area to host parties or large gatherings. Picnic areas close at midnight.
WILDLIFE/NATURE PRESERVATION: Do not destroy, trim, or remove trees or shrubbery. Remain on marked trails and avoid disturbing the wildlife. Please refrain from smoking or littering along our trails.
Pine View reserves the right to remove customers that do not abide by the campground rules laid out in this document, is rude to camp ground staff, or is disruptive to other customers.

- Inclement Weather Plan

Pine View Campground Office
If one of the following conditions exist, inclement weather plan will be activated (delayed opening or early closure):
1. A winter storm warning is put in place by the National Weather Service that predicts greater than 4 inches of snow or icy road conditions.
2. Tomah and/or Sparta School Districts close school due to severe weather forecast.
