Strategies for Students with ADHD

This class will provide participants with techniques and tools that they can use in their daily lives when working with children/youth with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

INSTRUCTOR: John Weiland has been an educator and advocate for quality and equal access education for the past 33 years. He is a certified regular education teacher, coach, reading specialist, special education teacher and administrator. He has experience working in a variety of educational settings, including residential treatment centers, alternative schools and public education schools. John has also served in leadership positions during his career to help establish best practice for classroom behavioral expectations. John will be providing the audience with an understanding of ADHD and techniques to use in the classroom of at home. Participants will have the opportunity to network, generate ideas, and create individual next steps.
