WHAT IS A YOUTH SPONSOR?
Youth Sponsors are at both the youth center and the school and provide information about the community and school to new incoming youth via welcome packets, email, and face-to face. Come to the training and learn all about it!!

The U.S. Army CYS Youth Sponsorship Program is peer outreach designed to help incoming students make a smooth transition from their previous school to the new school and community. A Sponsor is an experienced, energetic student who provides regular outreach with new students via welcome packets, face-to-face communication, and email. Peer Sponsors communicate information about school resources, provide encouragement and support, develop trust, provide appropriate referrals and are a point of contact within the Youth Sponsorship Program regarding all sorts of topics that include but are not limited to youth center, actitivites/events and so much more!
